The word aerobic means “with oxygen”, but aerobics refers to any kind of activity or exercise done to improve the cardiovascular efficiency of the body by getting more oxygen into the system.

Dancing is a form of aerobics that involves joyful exercise with music. The children of KG-I had great fun in the aerobics class which turned out to be a good workout for them. Aerobic dancing started with a “warm up” which included slow steps, then came the “high impact” where the main aerobic routine dance was done and lastly came the “cool down” where the children relaxed.

Aerobics helps children in strengthening their bones and muscles, builds immunity, improves social skills, keeps weight in check, makes them more expressive, boosts brain development and many more.
