Fine motor skills are those, that involve the refined use of the small muscles, which control the hand,fingers and thumb. As the skill develops, a child is able to complete different tasks such as writing, buttoning, zipping etc.The Nursery children had lots of fun activities related to fine motor skills. One of the most important activity which they thoroughly enjoyed was transferring sand from one container to another with the help of the spoon.The other activity was arranging the pink towers, which involved use of their whole hand. The little ones held the lower end with the help of their hands and the upper end with their fingers which shows their understanding on how much pressure or grip is required to hold a thing.This activity also develops inter personal skills.
