On January 13, 2025, SAI Angan’s halls buzzed with excitement as students from Classes I, II, and III celebrated Makar Sankranti, blending creativity, tradition, and festive spirit.
Class I showcased their creativity by crafting and decorating kites, each reflecting their imagination and joy, symbolizing positivity and aspirations. This activity fostered togetherness, making the celebration memorable.
Class II participated by drawing vibrant kite designs, further exploring the festival’s significance, which honors Surya, the sun god, marking the transition to longer days. Their artwork celebrated unity, kindness, and the beauty of traditions, with both real and drawn kites representing dreams.
In Class III, students engaged in a lively kite-making session, turning colorful papers and threads into stunning creations. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and collaboration, as the children exchanged ideas and supported one another. This activity not only embraced the festive spirit but also nurtured teamwork and creativity, leaving lasting memories.
