“True mathematicians love to try unsolved problems – they love a challenge.” – Andrew Wiles
The Excelomatics clubs are social occasions and play an important role in building positive relationships between teachers and children. They are opportunities for children to showcase their knowledge in maths and helps them become maths catalysts and ambassadors themselves.
Students of Class I made a pen stand using colourful papers, cut into new shapes like prisms and hexagons. This model is quite useful, not only for learning new shapes but also to keep their desk organised. All the members had a fun time experimenting with shapes and creating something useful. While students of Class II and III enjoyed solving a brain booster game which helped enhance their memory. Brain Booster Games consists of different training modes to improve brain function and stimulate the mind to improve overall performance.
It helps to train students as it improves attention, reaction, and velocity of the mind with timed math problems and tasks. The whole session was very insightful as the students got to try new things and learn maths through a fun method of Brain Booster Games.
