“Drawing is vision on paper”- Andrew Loomis
Free hand drawing is one such activity incorporated in the daily routine of students for the development of their hand-eye coordination. It is crucial for the overall physical development of children and also forms a foundation for other creative activities like painting, art and craft and many more.
Free hand drawing helps in holding the pencil with tripod grip, keeps a child engaged longer and helps in drawing without the use of tools. In most cases, children take to drawing naturally and enjoy creating on their own. It enhances their imagination, giving them a freedom of expression and creativity, simultaneously helps in developing their fine motor and coordination skills.
Students at SAI Angan are engaged in free hand drawing activity on a daily basis. For the little ones of Nursery, from scribbling on papers, they have now started creating images by using different shapes. They thoroughly enjoy the activities and love to show their creativity.
