Good Habits develop good manners in an individual. A habit means doing something every day in the same manner, under all circumstances. We must practice good habits from a very early age as good habits and manners gives us good friends and good surroundings, which in turn leads to a happy and peaceful life. There are many habits which can help us to become a well-mannered person.
The children of KG I practice some good habits in the school every day like putting litter in the dust bin, arranging the classroom after class, sharing things, walking in a line, respecting and loving each other, washing hands before and after having food as well as after using the toilet and many more. They are also made aware of different other good habits they should follow at home like brushing their teeth twice a day, trimming their nails regularly, taking bath every day, wearing clean clothes etc.
Good habits lead to good manners. Good manners give us good friends; good friends mean good environment; good environment leads to a happy and peaceful life. It also helps in developing inter and intrapersonal skills.
