Conjunction in Speech

“Language is “the infinite use of finite means.” – Wilhelm von Humboldt.

As a part of speech, conjunctions are important in conveying the whole thought of the spoken or written language. The importance of conjunctions lies in the fact that they make any sentence sensible and comprehensible.

The students of Class II had an activity on conjunctions. They were asked to take out three paper strips of different colours and write two fragments, one on each strip and then using a conjunction they formed a complete sentence on the third strip. The presentation of our SAIoneers was excellent and praiseworthy. This helped them to join two sentences to form another new sentence. They all were excited enough to be a part of this fun filled session. No doubt it was an enriching and interactive class for them.
