Doctors take care of people so that they recover from various ailments. Doctors also create awareness on the prevention of various diseases, to help people lead a healthy life. Imagine the world without doctors or any other health workers like nurses, health workers etc.

To make the students of Play Group aware about the importance of doctors, a role play was organised, wherein students learnt about how a doctor interacts with a patient and what all advice he or she gives to the patients. Through the role play students got to know why a doctor wears a long white apron and why he or she wears gloves while checking the patients or doing operation. Students understood the importance of hand-washing before and after having their food, using clean handkerchief while coughing or sneezing so that no germs enter their body, or they don’t spread germs.

The role play enhanced their naturalistic, kinesthetic, inter and intra personal skill.
