“Some victories are merely defeated wearing the wrong clothing” ― Kiersten White
We all have basic needs in our lives. The moment a baby is born, it needs to be fed and protected from all sorts of outdoor activities. For which we need food and shelter. Along with this, to protect our body from heat, cold, rain and insect bites we all need clothes. Starting from the time of early humans till now, clothes are very essential for humans. They are made from fibres like cotton, wool and silk which are collected from plants and animals naturally and some are man-made too like nylon, polyester etc. These fibres help us make different outfits for different seasons.
Based on this, our children of Class III did an activity related to different types of clothes worn in different seasons and learnt about plants and animals who provide us with these fibres. They collected small cut pieces of fabric such as cotton, wool and silk from home and pasted in their scrapbook. They wrote about the uses and nature of different clothes worn in different seasons. They were so excited to do the activity. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in the children during this online activity class as they learnt about man-made fibres. It was a knowledgeable session for the students as they learnt and had a lot of fun at the same time.
