“Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day,
Nursery Angels wants to play,
Rain, rain go away”.
Monsoon brings in cherishing memories of our childhood days. Playing in the rain, jumping in the puddles, floating the paper boats, catching rain drops in the umbrella, splashing each other with water or enjoying the cool climate, the season has its own beauty.
To give a memorable experience to the students of Nursey and help them to understand the beauty of the season, an interesting activity was conducted. To mark the beginning of rainy season, a beautiful rhyme basing on the season was played. It was followed by briefing the students about the water cycle and telling them about the vegetables available during the season. They learnt about a water puddle, the protective shields like umbrella, rain coat etc. They also learnt about a wonderful creation of God – the Rainbow.
Students were shown presentation on the food relished during the season. A short spicy puffed rice party was organised in class. They also enjoyed to their heart’s content jumping in the artificial water puddle made in the class. It ended with a group activity where students made a rainbow with their palms painted in seven colours.
