“A smile is the universal language of kindness, and every emoji tells a story.” – Anonymous
World Emoji Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the young learners of KG I and KG II, transforming the classrooms into vibrant spaces of smiles, creativity, and joyful self-expression. The celebration encouraged children to recognise, understand, and express a wide range of emotions in fun and meaningful ways.
The KG I learners enthusiastically shared their favourite emojis and spoke about what each one meant to them. Through engaging games, interactive discussions, and playful activities, they explored different feelings and discovered how facial expressions help us communicate emotions. The joyful interactions filled the classroom with laughter, confidence, and positivity while strengthening their communication and social skills.
Adding to the excitement, the KG II SAIoneers participated in a delightful hands-on craft activity where they created colourful emojis representing emotions such as happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, excitement, and love. With imagination and creativity, the little artists carefully designed expressive emoji faces, learning that emotions can be communicated without words. The activity nurtured emotional awareness, creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression while making learning both engaging and enjoyable.
The celebration beautifully blended creativity with emotional learning, helping children appreciate the importance of recognising and expressing feelings with empathy and confidence. Through smiles, conversations, art, and play, our little learners discovered that every emotion is special and every expression tells a story.
World Emoji Day was truly a memorable celebration that inspired happiness, imagination, and meaningful learning, leaving our young SAIoneers with cheerful hearts, expressive faces, and beautiful memories.
