Seasons are the four divisions of the year marked by particular weather patterns. They are an intrinsic part of one life. From the fun-filled summer camps to enjoying the monsoon rains to wearing tiers of clothes during winter, each season has its own fun and helps in creating beautiful memories. Each season also comes with a different celebration.

To inculcate the importance of seasons, an activity was conducted for the children of Nursery. They were asked to experience and explore the various seasons like summer, monsoon and winters and the clothes they prefer wearing during the time. Children had a gala time sorting the pictures to their respective seasons. It was quite amusing to see the children stand under an umbrella or wear a raincoat to symbolize monsoon or wear woollens for winter or don a cap and wear black glasses to get rid of the sweltering heat of summer.

Activity of such kind helps in enhancing the naturalistic and fine motor skills as well as help build vocabulary skills.
