To celebrate the 150^th Birth Anniversary of the Great Leader, Mahatma Gandhi, the students of Class II presented a special performance in the morning Assembly. Through a Power Point Presentation (PPT), the little ones showed Gandhiji’s struggle for freedom from the British Rule. They also sang his favourite bhajan, “Vaiṣṇava jana to tene kahiye je pīḍa parāyī jāṇe re”, and shared some of his words of wisdom like “Say no to violence, “Truth and non-violence are the best weapons”, “Bura mat dekho, buramat bolo, bura mat suno” etc. It was a brilliant way to pay homage to the Father of our Nation by the tiny tots.
