“Spring is nature’s way of saying let’s party.” — Robin Williams
The children of KG-II learnt about the Spring season through several activities. They learnt that this season is known as the season of flowers and different kinds of flowers bloom. The little ones became excited to know how the colourful butterflies, the buzzing bees and the chirping birds flutter their wings and hover on the flowers to collect nectar and enjoy the warm sun. Children stretched their imagination to understand how beautiful the nature looks with full blooming flowers filling the air with fragrance.
The children were made to do an activity where they had to dip the bottom of the bottle in paint and print flowers on the chart paper. Then they drew butterflies and honey bees all around the flowers. This activity enhanced their naturalistic, visual and fine motor skills.
