Environmental Studies: Homes and habitat

“Home is a shelter from storms – all sorts of storms.” – William. J. Bennett

Home is a place where we live. All living beings such as animals, birds, human beings need a place to live. It keeps everyone safe from bad weather such as rain, sunlight, storm and other natural disasters. Habitat is the home of an animal. Almost every place on Earth – from the hottest dessert to coldest ice pack – is the habitat of some kind of animals.

Today Class II children have made a project related to “Homes and habitat”. They used their household items and created a model of the animal’s house. Students also explained nicely for which animal they constructed that particular house. Through this activity our SAIoneers became more innovative and creative.
