“When you put the whole picture together , recycling is the right thing to do”. – Pam Shoemaker
Often when you think you are at the end of something, you are at the beginning of something else. There is no such thing as away. When we throw something it must go somewhere.
Today we had an activity on “Best out of waste” for Class II and III. It came out beautifully as all our SAIoneers had their own recycling ideas of making waste materials turn into few useful things. They used plastic bottles, bamboo sticks, newspapers, old boxes from the kitchen , used crayons, CD discs and many more things. From these waste materials they made flower vases, ektara instruments, animals, pencil stands, piggy banks and many more usable things.
Our little SAIoneers were too delighted and enjoyed a lot making the best out of waste and hence proved that waste isn’t waste until we waste it.
The activity portrayed their creativity at it’s best.
