“The human body is the best work of art.” – Jess C. Scott
Identifying different body parts and using them is a cognitive, physical, and language enriching process. On February 17, 2021 the students of Class I revised the topic “My Body” and described the usage of body parts such as the sense organs and external parts etc. Our sharp learners also validated this topic by adding the verbs to show the function of different parts of the human body in an interdisciplinary lesson. For example, “We use our hands to hold objects; Hold being the verb.”
They also learned that they can use some of their body parts as non-standard units to measure length. For example, “Arm’s Length, Hand Span” etc. It was amazing to see the level of enthusiasm of our students, enhancing their naturalistic intelligence each day!
