Colour is a powerful and important communication tool for children and the students of KG I had a wonderful time learning to identify different colours like red, blue, yellow, green etc. They were introduced to the concept of obtaining secondary colours by mixing other colours. Through an exciting activity of palm printing, students learnt to obtain orange colour by mixing red and yellow together. The knowledge on colours was further enhanced through other activities like thumb printing and making of paper fans. All these activities developed in their visual, fine motor and linguistic skills.
