“A measurement is not an absolute thing, but only relates one entity to another.” – H.T. Pledge
“Capacity” is the amount a container can hold. The oil, juice drink and gasoline containers are just a few examples of objects that illustrate capacity.
SAIoneers of Class II have started with the revision for the topic “Measurement (capacity).” They did an activity where they used three different types of container and 1litre bottle full of water. Children poured water into three different containers and compared their capacity and identified which container is having the highest capacity and which is having the least capacity.
From this activity our students have also learnt how interdisciplinary aspects are being shared as our learners learnt subject and predicate, and religious festivals in context of Holi. Yes, our SAIoneers understood how different subjects can be interrelated in approach and have gathered a clear idea about different concepts.
