Everything that we can see or talk about is represented by a word that names it. These are naming words, on which an activity was conducted for Class-I students. Each student of the class was given paper cut-outs with the names of person, place, animal and thing written on it and they were asked to stick the paper cut-outs on a chart paper in which four columns were made as person, place, animal and thing. Through this activity the students learned that everything around us has a name and that naming words are the names of person, place, animal and thing. Children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were able to segregate different naming words and put them in right column. They also added more naming words to each column on their own. Through this teaching learning process the naturalistic, linguistic, visual, inter and intra personal skills of the students were enhanced.
