Wheel and Raft making

“There is nothing in a caterpillar, that tells you that it’s going to be a butterfly.”- Buckminster Fuller

Life is like a journey which goes on in its path. People move out and do many works for their daily needs. Today, the SAIoneers of Class-III were involved in wheel and raft making to know the lifestyle of the  ancient period  and the struggle faced  by the people at that time. More than thousands years back, we humans came to Earth as a beautiful creation of God. Like others we also had to wander around for shelter and food. At that time it was not easy to carry things from one point to another. Then the idea came to the mind of Early humans to make something which will be helpful for them to carry their belongings. By seeing the logs rolling down the hills, the idea of making wheel came to the mind of mankind. It helped them to carry their heavy loads and to move around different places. Because of the invention of early humans, today we are able to go out and move around now-a-days conveniently.

They made wheel cutouts out of card board and papers. They also made paper rolls and attached to each other to make rafts. It was made so beautiful that the models were looking realistic. They learnt the different uses of wheels and rafts which was useful in their lives.
