Everyone knows the story of Aladdin and his three wishes. To be given three wishes where you can ask for anything you want is everyone’s desire. In the Reflection Club the students of Class I, II and III wrote about what they would ask for if they had the opportunity to meet a magical genie. The students asked a variety of things. They wanted to travel around the world so they could meet new people and taste new cuisines. They crafted their story in their own words. They shared their desire for books to fill a huge library. One of the students said that he would wish for the world to become a happier place while another asked to be given the ability to always be kind. While the majority said their biggest wish was for this pandemic to disappear.

The most beautiful part of this session was how instead of toys and gifts they all asked for love and kindness. It was lovely to hear such wonderful ideas of what they would ask for. Love and kindness are what the world needs the most right now and seeing that our future generation are all wishing for it too, only shows how these little ones are the brightest hope for our future.
