“Theatre is a mirror, a sharp reflection of society.” – Yasmina Reza
The purpose of theatre and drama is to create an ambience for the audience, through acting, dialogue and costumes, to understand the world around them.
The Mast Club members of Class I presented a short act from the famous story “The Jungle Book”. Children were aptly dressed for their respective characters they portrayed. The audience were super excited to see Mowgli, the main character of the story and Shere Khan the tiger.
Children potrayed the characters beautifully. At the end, the actors passed on a valuable message that “some relations are more than blood and we should be faithful and honest”. RJ Soumya of Radio Orange Club introduced the act.
