“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.” – John Lubbock
By being outside and surrounded by nature, children experience an ever-changing and free-flowing environment that stimulates all the senses. Exposure to sunlight helps them to absorb vitamin D which contributes to a strong immune system. The open areas enable them to play uninhibitedly which fills them with happiness.
Children of KG I were taken out to a Government Nursery where they were exposed to a variety of plants that surrounds them. The fresh air of the natural world was invigorating and offered endless opportunities for physical activity.
The hands-on experience with the flowers was quite stimulating for the children. It was overall a relaxing activity that was enjoyed by everyone. The visit helped in enhancing the naturalistic, kinesthetic and visual skills of the children.
