We must keep ourselves clean and bright as we are our own window through which we see the world. Apart from keeping our mind and heart clean, it is also imperative to keep our physical self clean. Cleanliness is next to the godliness. It is the best way to prevent many diseases. We should keep our surroundings and ourselves neat and tidy always.
To help the little blossoms of our Play Group imbibe the habit of cleanliness, we regularly remind the little ones with activities, actions and being role model ourselves. In one such activity the children were taught to wash their hands before and after eating their food, eat their food with spoon in the cafeteria, cover their mouth while coughing or sneezing as well as arrange their messy classroom with their friends, pick the papers from the ground and throw it in a dustbin etc. With this activity they developed their fine motor, intra and inter personal skills.
