Air is a natural resource that has many uses. Animals and humans need the oxygen in air to survive. Plants use air during photosynthesis to produce oxygen. Based on the different uses of air, an activity was conducted for students of Class III.

The children were explained about the different uses of air through videos and live demonstration. Through an experiment with candle, students observed and concluded that air is required for burning.

Then the children were divided into groups and one group was asked to blow balloons and draw pictures of objects like filling tyres, balls, floaters etc, in which air is used. The other group was asked to make kites and they learnt that air is also used for flying. The children were excited as they understood the uses of air through different activities.
