“Learning becomes meaningful when children experience concepts through action and play.” – Anonymous
On June 22, 2026, the enthusiastic SAIoneers of Class I explored the concept of estimation through a lively, engaging number-line activity. The classroom transformed into an interactive learning space where numbers came alive through movement and participation.
The young learners joyfully jumped along the number line to identify and estimate the position of different numbers. This hands-on approach helped them understand number sequencing in a fun and memorable way, strengthening their number sense and boosting their confidence. As they actively participated in the activity, students demonstrated great enthusiasm and curiosity. They confidently located numbers and shared their ideas, making the session both interactive and enjoyable. The activity not only enhanced their understanding of estimation but also encouraged active learning, collaboration, and critical thinking. It was truly delightful to see the children learn with such excitement and energy.
Overall, the session was a perfect blend of movement and mathematics, turning a simple concept into a joyful and meaningful learning experience.
