“Age is no barrier when passion, focus, and determination lead the way.” – Anonymous
It is a moment of immense pride and celebration as our young SAIoneer, Elena Mishra of KG I, achieved a remarkable milestone at the 17th KIIT International Chess Festival held in Bhubaneswar. Competing in the Under-6 Girls Category (Category C), Elena secured 1st place, showcasing exceptional talent and strategic thinking. What makes this achievement even more extraordinary is that at just 4 years of age, she was the youngest participant in the entire tournament.
The KIIT International Chess Festival is recognised as one of India’s largest chess events, attracting participants from across the country and featuring a highly competitive field in Category C. Amid such strong competition, Elena’s performance stood out, reflecting her focus, confidence, and remarkable understanding of the game. In recognition of her achievement, she was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 8000 along with a trophy, marking a proud moment for both her and the school.
Elena’s success is a true testament to the power of passion, dedication, and early nurturing of talent. Her journey inspires young learners to believe in themselves and strive for excellence, no matter how young they are. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our young chess champion and wish her many more victories in the future.
