It was a moment of immense pride and joy as our young SAIoneers showcased their talent at the 3rd Open State Kyorugi and Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2026, held from April 24 to 26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from athletes across various districts of Odisha, making the competition both challenging and inspiring.
Shivika Mishra of Class I delivered an exceptional performance, winning a Gold Medal in Poomsae and a Silver Medal in Kyorugi (Fighting). Her confidence, precision, and dedication were clearly reflected in every move, earning her well-deserved recognition.
Raren Raghuvir Mohanty of Class III G also displayed remarkable determination and skill, securing a Silver Medal in Kyorugi (Fighting) and a Bronze Medal in Speed Kicking. His agility and perseverance stood out, highlighting his strong competitive spirit.
