“The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.” – Rachel Carson
The Class I SAIoneers had an exciting and insightful day of learning beyond the classroom during their visit to the Regional Museum of Natural History (RNHM). The trip offered them a wonderful opportunity to explore and observe the fascinating world of animals and their habitats up close.
As they walked through the museum exhibits, the young learners observed various species, their environments, and the interconnectedness of life in nature. This hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of animal diversity but also sparked curiosity and a love for learning about the natural world.
Throughout the visit, students practiced Habit 5 – Seek First to Understand, by observing carefully and listening attentively to the explanations, and Habit 2 – Begin With the End in Mind, by reflecting on what they learned and how it connects to their goals as responsible global citizens.
The trip was a perfect blend of fun and meaningful learning, reminding everyone that the world beyond the classroom holds endless lessons waiting to be discovered.
