“True joy is not in having more, but in giving more.” – Anonymous
The students of Class II brought smiles and joy to everyone’s hearts as they presented a beautiful assembly under the Founder’s Memorial Series, filling the school with the true colours of happiness. The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by the news reading presented with sign language, an inspiring step towards inclusivity. Keeping with the theme, the Thought of the Day, Word of the Day with its meaning and usage, and an interesting fact were shared, sparking curiosity and enriching vocabulary. A key highlight was the sharing of the principle of Synergise from The Leader in Me, reminding everyone of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
The centrepiece of the assembly was a heart-warming skit on “Happiness.” Dressed in vibrant costumes and glowing with excitement, the children lit up the stage with their energy. Through simple, touching acts like helping a friend, sharing a meal, or cheering someone with a hug, they beautifully conveyed that true happiness lies not in material possessions but in kindness, sharing, and togetherness.
The assembly concluded on a joyful note, leaving the audience smiling wide and inspired by the powerful reminder that happiness multiplies when shared.
