“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
The spirit of joy and compassion came alive today as our enthusiastic SAIoneers led the Morning Assembly on the heartwarming theme, “Happiness is Sharing”, under the Founder’s Memorial Series. The assembly reminded everyone that the true essence of happiness lies not in receiving, but in giving and sharing with others.
The programme began with the school prayer, followed by a thoughtful Thought of the Day, an inspiring Word of the Day, and an engaging Fact of the Day. These simple yet profound moments encouraged everyone to reflect on the small ways in which sharing brings happiness into our lives.
The highlight of the morning was a heartwarming skit, where students beautifully portrayed how little acts of kindness, be it sharing a smile, a toy, or lending a helping hand, can create ripples of happiness for both the giver and the receiver. Their performances captured the innocence and power of sharing, reminding us that joy multiplies when it is spread.
Adding depth to the celebration was a pledge for happiness, where children promised to embrace positivity, kindness, and the habit of sharing in their daily lives. A moving video of our beloved Late Founder, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, followed, filling the assembly with inspiration. His timeless message highlighted that true happiness is found in bringing joy to others, a philosophy that continues to guide every SAIoneer.
The assembly concluded with cheerful smiles and hearts full of gratitude, leaving behind the simple yet powerful reminder: happiness multiplies when shared, creating an atmosphere of positivity, compassion, and love.
