“To plant a tree is to believe in tomorrow.” – Audrey Hepburn
At SAI Angan, the spirit of Van Mahotsav came alive as our youngest SAIoneers celebrated Ek Poudha Maa Ke Naam with joy, creativity, and heartfelt connection to nature. The event was a beautiful blend of storytelling, music, art, and environmental responsibility.
The day began with captivating tree tales and rhymes that brought the magic of nature into the hearts of the little ones. Through engaging narratives and songs, children learned about the importance of trees, the role they play in our lives, and how we can all contribute to protecting the environment.
Adding a creative touch, the children expressed their love for nature through nature-inspired art. With twigs, leaves, and petals, they crafted unique pieces that reflected their imagination and respect for the Earth.
The highlight of the celebration was the sapling plantation. Each child received a plant and made a personal pledge to nurture it with care and responsibility. This simple yet powerful act symbolised a promise to Mother Earth and a step towards a greener future.
Van Mahotsav at SAI Angan was more than just an event. It was a meaningful journey of learning and growing together. With every sapling planted and every story shared, our young SAIoneers strengthened their bond with nature and embraced the values of kindness, responsibility, and sustainability.
Together, we grow—one sapling, one story, and one act of kindness at a time.
