Hands-On Learning: Class I’s Journey into Inverse Operations

Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe.” — Galileo Galilei

On October 28, 2024, the enthusiastic SAIoneers of Class I engaged in an enriching hands-on activity that explored the concept of inverse operations, linking addition with subtraction. The students discovered that an “inverse” reverses the effect of an operation, exemplified by the additive inverse of 5 being -5, which together sum to zero.

This interactive exploration not only simplified complex equations but also fortified their problem-solving skills. As they worked collaboratively, the learners developed a proactive mindset towards tackling math challenges, reinforcing the idea that understanding mathematical relationships can enhance their confidence and capabilities.

Through this engaging session, Class I students gained valuable insights into the fundamental principles of mathematics while embracing creativity and teamwork. Their vibrant curiosity and enthusiasm for learning exemplified the core values at SAI Angan, fostering a love for mathematics that will serve them well in their educational journey.
