“When we empathize, we connect; when we show compassion, we unite.“- Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo
On the second day of the Founder’s Memorial Series, the students of Class III hosted a captivating assembly that embodied the values of compassion and empathy. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Late Founder Chairman Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, who always emphasized the importance of understanding and kindness towards others.
Through a beautiful performance, the students introduced “Compassionate Carlos,” a Round Square Hero who personifies the qualities of selflessness and care. The presentation highlighted Habit 5: “Seek first to understand, then to be understood,” a principle that resonates deeply with Dr. Sahoo’s philosophy.
The assembly concluded with a lively dance and a thought-provoking chart created by the students, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. As Dr. Sahoo so eloquently put it, “Empathy is the bridge that connects human hearts, and compassion is the foundation that holds us together.” May we continue to inspire and nurture these values in our hearts and minds.
