Engaging Young Minds Through Puppetry: KG II Students’ Creative Literacy Class

“Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.”O. Fred Donaldson

In their Literacy class on July 11th, 2024, KG II students at SAI Angan explored the imaginative world of puppetry. After the narration of the story “Little Sock and the Tiny Creatures,” the children created their own sock puppets. This engaging activity allowed them to project their emotions onto the puppets, enhancing their language and communication skills. The students also practiced voice modulation and improved their fine motor skills, bringing their puppets to life with creativity and enthusiasm.
