Students of Class-III had a Day Out visiting the famous Rajarani Temple on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva boasts of a distinctive charm and is frequented by tourists from all over the country. The heritage walk was an enriching experience for the students as they got to admire the marvel of the monument and learn about its history and myths associated with it. They were surprised to know that the temple has no idols of any deities. The little ones were happy to watch the breath-taking sculpture as well as realised the importance of maintaining the sanctity of such holy places. Students got to know that they shouldn’t talk loudly, play or talk over mobile phone while visiting any holy places. They were also sensitized on the importance of keeping the premises clean and not to litter anything. The students took a promise that if they see any waste strewn around in the temple premises, they would pick it up immediately and throw it in the dustbin
