“If you have a garden and a library you have everything”.
Garden is where every child loves to spend time. The children of KG-II learnt on the theme ‘Fun in the Garden’. To strengthen their naturalistic and visual skills, the little ones visited the school garden and came to know of the various things found there. They got a firsthand knowledge about different types of fruits by seeing the real fruits and learnt how they differ in shapes and sizes, color and taste. To further their knowledge, students were briefed on various dimensions of fruits like, how fruits provide us with essential vitamins which protect us from diseases, fruits which grow in bunch like grapes and bananas or fruits like strawberry that grow along the ground. This was followed by a finger printing activity where children were provided with paper, poster colors of green and brown and was asked to make a bunch of grapes. The children stretched their imagination to create little pieces of beautiful art.
