To teach the children of KG-I on modes of transport, a discussion was initiated where they were asked about different modes of transport on land, water and air. To exercise the mind further, they were also asked on how they commute to school every day and how they travel to distant places. The views of the children were aptly noted. The children were then briefed about train as a means of transport that goes on tracks. To make it more exciting, the little ones were taken on a ride in the Toy Train. Teachers made it more fun by enacting the role of a real traveller. They showed the tickets, carried the luggage, and wore hats and sunglasses, taking the students along with them to the station and boarding the train to travel. This fun-filled activity was quite interesting for the children. Such activities help them in enhancing their kinesthetic and interpersonal skills.
