Honouring Society’s Cornerstones: Celebrating Teachers

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.”Khalil Gibran

At SAI Angan, the air was filled with warmth and gratitude as students came together to celebrate Teachers’ Day, paying a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated educators who shape their lives. The occasion was not just about honouring the memory of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan but also a beautiful reminder of the pivotal role parents play as a child’s first teachers.

The young SAIoneers poured their hearts into the celebration, showcasing their affection for their teachers and mentors through a heartwarming dance performance. Their handmade cards, crafted with love, were tokens of appreciation that touched the hearts of their beloved guides.

Such celebrations go beyond mere festivities; they serve as opportunities to strengthen bonds and nurture essential interpersonal skills among students. The atmosphere resonated with gratitude, leaving an indelible impression on all the teachers who witnessed the students’ sincere efforts.

In addition to honouring their teachers, the SAIoneers also fondly remembered their esteemed mentor and founder-chairman, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo. His inspiring words, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” echoed in their hearts, making the day a heartfelt tribute to the institution’s guiding light.

Teachers’ Day at SAI Angan was not just a celebration but a beautiful reminder of the profound impact educators have on the lives of their students. It was a day filled with love, appreciation, and the promise of a brighter future, guided by the belief in the beauty of dreams.
