“We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility.” – Rabindranath Tagore
Reflecting upon the inspiring words “Dream Beyond Horizon, Grind with Humility,” the young SAIoneers of Class-II orchestrated a poignant assembly in honour of the revered Late Chairman, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, as part of the ongoing Founder’s Memorial Series. The budding RJs commenced the proceedings with a serene morning prayer, setting the tone for reflection and growth. Through this assembly, students imbibed the essence of leadership, embracing the act of taking initiative, a principle dear to their Chairman Sir’s heart. His relentless commitment to quality education emanated positivity, shaping innovative learning that garnered national recognition. Followed by a touching video, the students were immensely motivated by the assembly’s spirit.
This assembly somehow encouraged the idea of setting ambitious and far-reaching goals, amidst the young learners. They learnt that one should not limit their aspirations to what is immediately achievable or within their comfort zone. Instead, they should aim for things that might seem distant or even beyond the current horizon. This reflected upon them, the importance of having big dreams and visions for the future.
They realized how “Humility” emphasizes the attitude with which one should approach this hard work. It suggests being down-to-earth, modest, and open to learning and growth during the process. Despite pursuing lofty goals, maintaining humility helps prevent arrogance and promotes a willingness to learn from mistakes and experiences.
Together, these wise words of the Founder-Chairman encouraged a balanced approach to personal and professional development. It conveyed the idea that while having grand dreams and goals is essential for progress, the journey towards achieving them should be characterized by sincere effort, persistence, and an attitude of humility. This concoction of ambition and humility can lead to meaningful accomplishments while maintaining a grounded and respectful perspective.
