Poem recitation is reciting a poem from memory in front of an audience. It is a literary work where ideas and feelings are delivered with a focus on rhythm. Students of Class –II had their final round of Metrical Stanza recital which helps in developing rhythm, phonemic awareness, memorization skills and also self expression and confidence. All the students had come well prepared, some of them ready with props and costumes. The tiny tots displayed immense confidence while reciting the poems on the stage. The audience, who comprised of students and children, highly appreciated and applauded their talent and effort.
