“Without mathematics, there’s nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is numbers.” – By Shakuntala Devi

Mathematics is sometimes called the “Science of Pattern”, in the sense of rules that can be applied wherever needed.

A Sudoku is a puzzle in which players insert the numbers one to nine into a grid consisting of nine squares subdivided into a further nine smaller squares in such a way that every number appears once in each horizontal line, vertical line, and square.

The Excelomatics club strengthens children’s knowledge and understanding of Mathematics. It provides them the opportunity to experiment and know Math. It allows them to work at their own level and improve learning.

The students of Class I learnt how to make snakes and ladders on the chart paper. Snakes and ladders games allows students to understand the concept of Mathematics easily. Students can be exposed to the operations of addition and subtraction indirectly.

The students of Class II and III learnt about Sudoku and placed the numbers one to nine in such a way that every number appears once in each horizontal line, vertical line, and square.

Sudoku benefits the child in developing their problem solving skill, thinking skills, improves memory, concentration and logical thinking.
