Rhyme, rhythm with Action

“Nursery rhymes are a great way into learning early phonic skills.” – Anonymous

Learning rhymes from an early age has numerous benefits. It not only creates phonetic awareness, but also boosts confidence, develop language and literacy skills, enhance cognitive skills etc. As music comes with movements, rhymes come with rhythm and actions.

For the students of KG I, a theme related rhyme activity was organised. It started with a rhyme, its rhythm and do actions. Children loved the activity.  It helped in boosting motor skill, improve memory, concentration, spatial intelligence and thinking skills.
