“Our attitude towards life determines life’s attitude towards us.” – John Mitchell
We use positive and negative sentences everyday in our day to day life. Saying yes to good things that will bring us a positive reflection and saying no to things that may harm us in a way. This week the students of Class III were asked to take two pieces of paper and showcase a positive sentence and a negative sentence through framing of not only a sentence but a visual aid as well. Students wrote about positive attributes such as eating healthy foods and recycling to keep the planet clean. While in negative sentences they perfectly grasped that they should not eat junk food on a regular basis, throw trash on the road and use sharp objects without the help of an adult.
They showed a clear understanding of what a positive and negative sentence is, were able to come up with multiple ideas and drew descriptive pictures to go hand in hand with their ideas.
