Ms. Silpi Sahoo is the most cherished connecting vital link between the students, faculty and the management.


A Masters in History and a Doctorate in Women Studies with the Utkal University, Dr. Silpi Sahoo believes in being a lifelong learner. She has also undertaken special training in Child Psychology and innovative teaching and learning methods that lead to ensuring completeness in development, pruning any lopsidedness, with expertise. Always willing to explore and learn new concepts, she did the Continuous Professional Development Course by the British Council, UK. She completed a short term course at Harvard School of Education, USA on "Making Learning Visible". In the year 2013, she completed a course on Early Childhood Education Sector, which was a learning and networking experience for Global Educators at the Asian International College, Singapore. She was conferred upon the Global Teacher Accreditation Award by the British Council, UK. She has also attended the XSEED School Leadership Program held at Singapore in the same year.

She has attended Indo-US summit on Higher Education in September 2010 at New Delhi and presented papers on 'Microfinance and Sustainability of SHGs-Coping with poverty alleviation and gender equality' in the National Conference on Financial sector: Contemporary Issues held in IBS, Bhubaneswar. In the year 2009 and 2010 she attended the Indus Entrepreneurs Summit at Delhi.

Ms Silpi Sahoo is widely travelled and has visited the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Sri Lanka and many more and has brought in ideas and practices that have enriched the institution profoundly.

She is an embodiment of motherly tenderness and genuineness and extends loving care to each child. Her laudable efforts lead to the profuse blossoming of inherent talent and confidence thus adding new dimensions to holistic development of each student.

Her fine eye for aesthetics, concern for the environment and detailed precision to the infrastructure has lent a special charm to the campus of the School.
